As a wedding photographer who is new to the Tucson area, I cannot even describe to you how overjoyed I am in seeing all that this city has to offer. The wedding venues are absolutely incredible and unique; Tanque Verde Ranch is no exception. When I started speaking with Eva on where she and Sam wanted to have their Sweetheart Session, I couldn’t help but throw Tanque Verde Ranch out there as an option! Brides, if you’re looking for a rustic wedding venue with elegant touches throughout, be sure to look this place up! Sarah and her team are totally on top of things and are revealing a GORGEOUS upscale barn location to add to the venue’s wedding options.
And if I haven’t shouted it from the rooftops yet, I’m sooooo glad that monsoon season has come to an end! When I first got to Arizona the weather was perfect and I was dying to go out and shoot! But then, as soon as I started planning sessions, BAM! Insane freaking weather. *cue all the eye-roll emoji’s* When I pulled up my weather app to check the forecast for Eva and Sam, all it showed me was glowing sun icons and temperatures finally under 100 degrees. Woohoo!!!
Session Time!
Eva told me weeks ago that she was going to go all out for their Sweetheart Session at Tanque Verde Ranch. New dress. Beautiful accessories. Professional hair and makeup. This girl was SO READY!
Eva tried to tell me that her and Sam were usually crazy awkward in front of the camera. Um, after having the absolute hardest freaking time narrowing down my favorites, I think I might have to call their bluff haha.
They couldn’t help but smile when I asked them to look at each other!
This was DEFINITELY one of my favorite images of the whole evening! I don’t know if Eva realized she was smizing, but you so were, girl!
The sprinklers may have kicked on, but that couldn’t stop these two.
Isn’t Eva’s ring GORGEOUS?! Well, I found out that her hubby’s dad actually made it! I’m sure Sam loved having a jeweler up his sleeve when he was ready to pop the question!
Eva and Sam, you guys were so freaking awesome to spend the evening with and thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture the love you two have for each other. 🙂
