Christy + Bailey | Engaged

I was so excited to meet Christy, Bailey, and their sweet baby girl Ashe in Tucson Mountain Park for their engagement session. Scheduling a session during monsoon season can be rather tricky; one minute the sun is out and next there are giant clouds rolling in. I’m so happy that the weather was on our side though. Christy had been texting me off an on before their session so full of excitement!

Getting to Know Christy and Bailey

From the moment that we started planning their Tucson Mountain Park engagement session, I could tell that I was going to love spending the evening with these two. Christy and Bailey met through a mutual friend back in 2018 while she was visiting from out-of-state. They were immediately inseparable. They held on strong through a long-distance relationship, the chaos of college, and a military deployment. Needless to say, they’re grateful for all the time that they now get to spend together. Their family has already started to grow with the addition of their sweet pup, Ashe. She loved getting to explore parts of Tucson Mountain Park and spending some quality time with her favorite humans. Her calm demeanor was befitting her laid back and fun parents.

The Tucson Mountain Park Engagement Session

Monsoon season may bring about some unpredictable storms, but for us it brought about some much needed cooler weather! Being out in the vast desert of Tucson Mountain Park means that shade is hard to come by. But with a temperature in the mid-80’s and a soft, constant breeze, we were loving our time outside!

Christy and Bailey had two outfits for their session: one dressy and the other a little more casual. Each set featured a different color palette and I love the variety it brought to their gallery. Ashe even had her own special accessory to show off!

Bailey’s pale blue shirt played off of the light purple flowers (Christy’s favorite color!) so perfectly!

I think we captured all THREE of them smiling at the camera! Good girl, Ashe 😉

As some clouds started to roll through, I thought Christy and Bailey should go ahead and change into their casual outfits before we lost too much light!

But the clouds parted right at the end and we still got a tiny bit of that beautiful sunset glow!

Christy and Bailey, thank you for spending your evening with me in Tucson Mountain Park! I’m so glad that I got to be a part of your love story! I hope that your Ohio wedding is everything you’ve been dreaming up together.
