A Stunning Fall Maternity Session in Clarksville | Chandler + Sean

Back in July of this year, a very excited mom reached out to me about photographing a Gender Reveal party for her daughter. Although I had seen tons of gender reveal videos and pictures on Facebook floating around (the reactions the parents have are absolutely PRICELESS!), I had never been lucky enough to actually be there in person to witness one. So, it’s safe to say I was pretty stoked haha. The party was so cute and everyone there was beyond excited for the big reveal.

After all the formal pictures, mingling, and snacking, the moment had finally arrived! Everyone headed outside to see the big reveal. Sean, an avid golfer, was going to strike a golf ball and reveal a cloud of smoke to allow himself, Chandler, and all the friends and family in attendance to find out the gender of their little one. And the reaction that I had been looking forward to? Um, GOLDEN!

Since July, the shock and nervousness has subsided and now Chandler and Sean are beyond excited to welcome their baby girl, Meredith. When they reached out to me about their maternity session, I was so eager to work with them again. Since the gender reveal party, I had been friends with both of them on social media and had been getting a front row seat to all their baby shenanigans (I swear to you, Chandler posts the most hilarious things throughout the day and always has me laughing), preparing for little Meredith’s arrival, and seeing how absolutely amazing Sean has been attending to Chandler and making sure she knows just how beautiful of a mom she is at every step of their pregnancy!

 When we met up this past weekend, it truly felt like I was meeting up with old friends I hadn’t seen in a while. We were all talking and laughing the entire time. The sense of belonging these two gave me seriously blew me away. Gaining friendship was something I never really anticipated when I set out to pursue photography as a career. Sure, I knew I’d meet people. But, if you haven’t heard me mention it before, I’m a tad shy and really have push myself not to be so introverted and nervous at times. But with the sessions I’ve had these past few months, I have met some really incredible people that make me feel like a part of their family and I don’t think I can really ever express how grateful I am to be a part of their lives. 

 Chandler and Sean, you two are more than amazing and you bring out such a bright glow in each other. I am waiting on pins and needles for baby Meredith’s arrival and I can’t wait to see where these next few months will take you. December is right around the corner!!!
