If you have heard me say it once, you’ve heard me say it a thousand times: Fall is, by far, my favorite season. But, there is one thing that I can’t stand about it. The weather is all over the place! One day the sun is shining and it’s a crisp 60 degrees; beautiful, right? Then the next day it’s cloudy, raining, and in the 40’s! This finicky season FINALLY decided to play nice this past weekend though. It was a tad cloudy out, but not a drop of rain in sight! Lexie had sent me pictures of her maternity dress weeks ago, so I was super excited to see her in it. And Luis’ plaid shirt paired so well with her white maternity gown. ALL the cozy Fall/Christmas vibes for their January baby, Elena!!!
Lexie was absolutely radiant! Her hair and makeup looked INCREDIBLE!
Her hubby Luis was also a FABULOUS assistant for me! On cloudy days I really try to bring out my reflector to add in a bit more light and glow. Well, Luis was ALL. OVER. IT. He was moving around with me as I changed angles, watching the light shine up onto his beautiful wife’s face. I think he was having fun while simultaneously getting Lexie to give me some great smiles. She couldn’t help but laugh watching him squat down and move the reflector around like Captain America holding his shield! hahaha
The park also had some great views! This was my first time at this location and it was fun exploring it with these two.
Even though some recent storms caused most of the fall foliage to well… fall… it made for some great texture in their images!
Lexie and Luis, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your first baby’s journey! Elena will be here with you in just a couple short months!!!
