So I’ve been dropping a few hints over the past week or so that I’ve been up to something. Anyone that knows me will vouch for me when I say I love being organized and planning ahead. To me, it just makes everything seem a lot more attainable and a heck of a lot less stressful when I have a plan written down. Well, I figured it was about time I put that character trait to good use and create a collection of resources for newly engaged brides to help them through this new, exciting, and stressful season of life. I have put together a whole series of Engagement and Wedding Planning Tips to guide brides from their engagement to the wedding day!
This is a big one! I mean, it’s one of the first tasks you’ll conquer on your to-do list. You’ve got to have amazing photos to put on all those Save the Date cards, right? So my very first piece of content is all about my favorite tips for getting awesome engagement photos. After looking through it, you’ll feel prepared and excited for your session with your photographer!
My next tips that I’ll send you will be all about your wedding vendors. I’ll talk about important questions that you want to ask your photographer– if you don’t have those answers already– that will make your selection process a little easier. Knowing which vendors to focus on booking first is also key to smooth wedding planning, so I’ll touch on that subject, too.
The last few pieces of advice I will share with you are all about your wedding day schedule. It isn’t just one thing that makes your timeline of the day fun and stress-free– it’s a series of multiple decisions and how they all tie in to one another. These little nuggets of info, and the decisions you make about them, ultimately affect the number of portraits you can have on your wedding day, what time you should start your wedding ceremony, making sure Family Formal photos go smoothly, and how certain Hair and Makeup decisions can make or break your wedding day!
I really want to help guide you through this season of life. Every bride deserves to have an awesome wedding day without stress and worry. And while I’ll be your biggest cheerleader, a calming guide, and (hopefully) a fun friend on your wedding day, I want to serve you BEFORE that day even gets here!
