When I first heard about Jordan and the creation of PopWeds, I couldn’t believe the business emerged from planning her own wedding in just 48 hours. If that kind of stress actually encouraged her to become a wedding planner full-time, then I knew wedding planning was in her blood! Jordan announced that she was going to be hosting a vow renewal in Tucson and I was so happy for her. I figured that this time she would be able to take her time and plan this special day at the normal, calm pace most brides do. Well, I couldn’t have been more wrong! The vow renewal was being planned in one month. So, technically, she gave herself a ton more time than before, but still!
With no time to spare, Ron and Jordan got straight to work to transform their simplistic backyard into a space worthy of their vow renewal. Artificial grass and stones were put down to create the ceremony space and dance floor combo. Jordan also hand-painted a beautiful mural that provides a proper backdrop for her whimsical, fantasy-inspired celebration. Golden, glittery leaves were hung from a moss and flower-covered tree: a built-in wedding arbor in their own backyard. It was gorgeous!
No detail was spared for the guests’ reception seating either. Warm lights were strung up underneath the tent giving off an inviting glow. However, the real show-stopper of the setup was the elegant chandelier right in the center.
Jordan and all the event’s vendors worked so hard to create a magical day. On top of all the COVID-19 madness that was quickly approaching, lots of clouds and rain were in the forecast, too. But, despite all of the obstacles, Jordan’s optimism never wavered. As the ceremony time grew closer, more and more guests started to arrive and explore the amazing space tucked away in downtown Tucson. I am so honored that I was able to be there for Jordan and Ron. I wish them many more happy years of marriage to come!
Ron’s suit really tied in the purple!
Jordan’s amazing mural she painted for the ceremony!
Jordan and Ron wanted to share a First Touch together before the ceremony.
Look at how the backyard turned out!
Let the ceremony begin!
Then Jordan and Ron went straight into the first dance together after renewing their vows.
Then it was time to enjoy the reception! But Jordan had a special surprise up her sleeve for Ron…
She sang one of his favorite songs by Metallica! Ron was definitely impressed.
Then it was time to cut the cake and dance the night away!
A huge thank you to the incredible vendor team that made this day happen:
